Originally working with stone and clay, Ian discovered timber as a medium in his mid twenties and has never looked back.

Much of his work draws from the shapes of the natural world. Ian gains inspiration from the contrasts between surface and structure, organic and inorganic and perception and reality.

Ian's work encourages people to do more than just look.
