JULIET CORKHILL

Juliet is a local artist, working from a small studio in Buxton. Her main focus is printmaking; however, she likes to explore other mediums as well as learning new things.

Her love of drawing is the basis for all her artwork and for printmaking. In her printmaking practice she focuses on lino cuts, wood cuts, collagraphs and monotype prints, the latter involves working with watercolour as a spontaneous medium.

Juliets cards are hand coloured lino cuts, woods cuts and watercolour. These cards depict the diversity and beauty of the local flora and fauna. As much as possible her work reflects her love of the natural environment.
