About the Event

A stunning exhibition by photographer Michael McNamara showcasing a collection of 14 aerial photographs meticulously captured at Shark Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Western Australia.

Each photograph in this series serves as a window into the unique and dynamic interaction between the vast expanse of the sea and the rugged land that defines this coastal area. Through these images, viewers are invited to explore not only the aesthetic beauty of Shark Bay but also the profound effects of coastal action and natural processes that have shaped this remarkable landscape over time. The area is characterized by its striking contrasts, where the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean meet the golden sands and rocky outcrops of the coastline. These aerial photographs capture this interplay, illustrating how the forces of nature, such as tides, winds, and currents, continuously sculpt the shoreline and influence the ecological balance of the region.
