LORRAINE CAFARELLA
Lorraine Cafarella is an artist who lives in Montrose, a few km's from the beautiful Yarra Valley and a train ride to the city. This gives her a great range of subject matter to paint.
This is her first foray back into exhibiting after 14 years of not being involved in the industry. She loves to paint in acrylics and enjoys sketching musicians at festivals and shows and has recently pursued art through online classes and painting out and about with friends.
Prior to this time she was an active member of the art community and was a member of Ringwood Art Society, Australian Guild of Realist Artists, Contemporary Art Society of Victoria and Sherbrooke Art Society.
Lorraine has exhibited in many joint and solo exhibitions. From fun shows like "The Taste of Italy" exhibition (where a group of artists who travelled to Italy on their return had an exhibition at Sherbrooke Art Society) to the prestigious Alice Bale Art Awards.
Art is a very personal way of self expression and pursuing it makes the heart happy. Sometimes it's nice to paint what the eyes see and sometimes it's nice to paint what the heart feels.
