MARYSVILLE ART SHOW 2025

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    Art Show Entry Details:

  • Entries open on Wednesday 20th August 2025 and close on Saturday 18th October 2025 at 1.30pm – no late entries accepted

  • Only paintings, drawings, and textile artworks will be included in the show. Photographs, glassware and ceramics will not be accepted.

  • Artists may submit a maximum of 2 works.

  • Entry fee for 1 artwork is $15

  • Entry fee for 2 artworks is $30.

  • Entry fees are payable on completion of entry form through our secure online checkout.

  • Entrants are required to upload a 1-page Artists Bio with information about themselves and their artistic journey. 

  • The value of an individual artwork cannot exceed $3000.00
  • Any previously entered artworks cannot be re-entered and the organisers reserve the right not to accept an artwork.

  • All paintings must be framed and ready for hanging, including D rings and wire.

  • Stretcher frames are also acceptable provided they are ready to be hung.

  • The selling price, artist name and title must be attached to the back of the work.

  • All textiles need to be securely mounted, and be able to be hung or presented for display on plinths.

  • Once entries are received there will be no changes to title or price.

  • All possible care will be taken in handling an entrant’s work. However, the entrant accepts and assumes full liability for any loss or damage to their property at any time and from any cause whilst on the event premises. The entrant also expressly releases MiRa from any and all liability for such loss or damage.
  • Entrants are required to provide a 1-page Artists Bio with information about themselves and their artistic journey. 

    Drop Off / Pick Up Instructions:​

  • Delivery and collection of artwork is the responsibility of the artist.

  • ​Artwork is to be delivered to MiRa Marysville on one of the following days: Sun 19 Oct, Mon 20 Oct, Sat 25 Oct, Sun 26 Oct 2025 between 11:00am and 3:00pm

  • All packaging must be taken by the artist at drop-off.

  • Any unsold artworks are to be picked up from MiRa between Sunday 30 Nov (11am and 3pm) and Monday 1 Dec 2025 (11am and 3pm).

      Art Show Sales:

  • An email / text will be sent to the entrant if their artwork has won a prize or been sold

  • MiRa will retain 33% of the proceeds of all sales, with the balance to be paid by Electronic Funds Transfer to the entrant within 14 days of the end of the show.

  • All works are available for purchase during the show, and may be collected after Melbourne Cup Day, to allow all artwork to be eligible for the People’s Choice Award.

  • All artworks will be available for sale from Saturday 1st Nov 2025 until end of day Saturday  29th Nov 2025 and may not be sold outside of the Marysville Art Show during this time.

       Prizes:

  • All awards are non-acquisitive. Awards range between $50 and $1500 with a total prize pool of approximately $5000.
