I am an Australian of Romanian origin and have been living in Australia for the past 32 years. Since early 2020 I have discovered my love for art, and I have been teaching myself how to paint. When I paint and make objects of art, it fills me with warmth, awe and gratitude and brings me joy which I’d love to share with my viewers.

 

In my art journey, the discovery of new painting techniques enables me to express my inner universe. I like experimenting with different surfaces, such as canvas, ceramic, glass, and wood. Making my own colours is pure joy and allows each painting to tell its unique story.

 

My work attempts to show the joy of abandon with colour, to produce bold, bright, daring pieces. The process of creation brings me positive energy and happiness and I hope that viewers can relate to that. I aim to intrigue and invite the audience to discover different elements of their own imagination. Sometimes hidden letters or words can be found within the artwork. Serendipity and discovery have a special place in my art.
