SUE ROBERTSON

I have spent most of my life surrounded by animals and nature. The infinite detail of a bird’s wing, the movement of light across the muscles of a horse and the serenity of a sunset across the horizon; have inspired me to share this love of nature with others through my art.
Before retiring I rekindled my love of art by attending classes at Chisholm Frankston and I have continued to build diversity in my artwork by training with local Pakenham artists, Geoff Sergeant (Pencil Artist), Leigh Rust (Pastel),
Sue Jarvis and Nadine Dudek (Watercolour) and Di Lockwood (Painting and Printmaking). I attended a workshop with Lesley Barrett who introduced me to Scratchboard, which I have been hooked on for around 15 years. Scratchboard is my medium of choice but I still dabble with pencil, pastel and watercolour.
I am a founding member of Secan - South Eastern Contemporary Artist Group and also lead the Toomuc Valley Art Group who meet weekly to share and co-inspire each other.
